MEET YOUR BODY'S NEEDS
The Optimal Nutrition Program is built on teaching you what foods to choose, when is the optimal time to eat and also how sometimes, not eating at all can have some amazing benefits, both for your health and your physique.
All of this with the help and support you need to make the positive changes in your life which will lead you to a state of Optimal Health.
Simple, Nutritious and Tasty foods are the building blocks of our approach to nutrition.
Just Eat Real Food and you will quickly find that Optimal Health comes knocking.
We incorporate fasting into our Optimal Nutrition Program because NOT eating can be just as beneficial as WHAT you eat.
We use an Intermittent Fasting Protocol which teaches your body to use food efficiently and helps you burn that unwanted body fat.
Don’t worry, we integrate this very slowly so your body has time to adapt and you won’t feel as hungry as you might think.
Having support while on your path to health is of great importance.
We know from past experience that sometimes this support is hard to find from friends and family who aren’t on the same path so, WE are there to support you on your journey to Optimal Health.
The Optimal Health Method incorporates some simple strategies to give you the support and the tools you need to achieve your goals.
HEALTHY FATS ARE ESSENTIAL
Contrary to popular belief, eating fat doesn't make you fat. In fact, totally the opposite is true.
Fat is an essential macro nutrient that will help you to stay full and give you loads of energy.
Eating a good amount of fat will also keep you using your body fat as its main source of fuel.
Protein is essential for building and maintaining muscle mass, but should be limited to no more than 20% of calories.
If you eat more than this, your body can turn the excess protein into sugar (glucose) and pull you out of the "fat burning mode", which will make you hungry.
Veggies are the source of some extremely important micro nutrients that help us to stay healthy and fight off diseases such as cancer.
They supply vitamins, minerals and fiber, all of which are fundamental building blocks for Optimal Health.
Ideally your veggies should be local, in season and organic, when possible.
